OUR IMPACT

Aduna’s impact is best understood through the case study of our work on the baobab value chain in Northern Ghana and Burkina Faso, where we have worked in partnership with local community organisations for the past seven years to develop this ancient natural resource into a sustainable new local economy, while conserving and restoring the environment.

Together with our local partners ORGIIS,  a grass roots conservation NGO, and strategic partners such as the UNCCD, we have created new and sustainable income streams for over 3,300 women in 100+ communities. We have also planted over 20,000 trees, helping replenish the environment and providing for future generations.
